Jacq Molloy runs workshop at Eastbourne Lit Fest
Thank you to our fabulous tutor Jacq Molloy who ran a short story workshop at the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne as part of the inaugural Eastbourne Lit Fest last weekend. A sell-out group of writers joined Jacq for a brilliant morning looking at how to create the perfect short story.
Jacq has been teaching on our two-year Creative Writing Programme, alongside Rosie Chard, for many years. She's an award-winning short story writer, performed playwright and freelanced for many years as an arts writer for magazines and newspapers. Her short stories have won/placed in competitions such as Mslexia Magazine short story competition, The Brighton Prize, Frome short story competition and been published in anthologies.
Thank you to everyone who came along and joined us for a fun morning. And congratulations to the festival organisers – Jane and Jane – for a wonderful literary weekend in sunny Eastbourne.
