Getting to the Friends Meeting House
By train: Friends Meeting House is a 15-minute walk downhill from Brighton station where there are regular trains from London Victoria, London Bridge and towns along the south coast.
By Bus: North Street (Stops A, B, C): Most major Brighton & Hove buses stop here, just a short walks to the Friends Meeting House, including services 1, 1A, 5, 5A, 5B, 7, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 46, 49, and 50.
By Car: There are several car parks near the Friends Meeting House:
The Lanes Car Park (BN1 1ND): A 355-space, 24/7 multi-storey, barrier-controlled car park, roughly a 10–13 minute walk away.
Churchill Square Shopping Centre (BN1 2RG): Offers a large capacity (Red and Green car parks) and is about a 12–15 minute walk.
Regency Mews Secure Car Parking (BN1 2HF): A smaller, secure option with 24/7 security cameras.
Accessibility
The venue is partly accessible for wheelchair users. There are two designated Blue Badge parking bays in Ship Street which are about 50m from the entrance to the building. There are automated doors into the building; the main meeting room and the disabled toilet. All of the rooms on the ground floor are wheelchair accessible. The poetry course is held in an upstairs room and there’s a stair lift allowing access to the upstairs rooms for those with limited mobility.
