Manuscript Consultations
A one-to-one meeting with a literary agent, and honest market feedback on your work.
For students on our two year programmes with a completed first draft of a manuscript, we offer a meeting with a literary agent at the end of the course. This is a chance to get market feedback on your work. The agent will have read a sample of your work in advance and will give you professional feedback during a Zoom meeting.
Sometimes these sessions have resulted in students receiving representation — but this is obviously not guaranteed.
Don't have a completed first draft at the end of your second year? You're welcome to come back at any other time after completing the course — many people don't finish in time, and that's fine.
This opportunity is only available once during the two-year programme, and only to students on the Creative Writing Programme, Life Writing Programme and Advanced Writing Workshops. There are very specific requirements for the content and format of the material, so please read the instructions carefully after booking your place.
