Worthing Library
Worthing Library is a busy, welcoming community hub located in the town centre, near the museum, town hall and borough council offices. Built in the 1970s, it has recently been refurbished and is now home to registration and antenatal services, the FindItOut Centre, the Schools Library Service and the Business and Intellectual Property Centre.
Our courses at Worthing Library
First year Creative Writing Programme, starting September 2026 on Wednesdays from 10-12.30pm
Second year Creative Writing Programme, starting September 2026 on Fridays 10-12.30pm. To discuss joining a second-year group, email us.
Taster sessions for the first year course are being held at Worthing Library on Wednesday 15 April, Wednesday 22 July and Wednesday 9 September so you see if the course is for you.
The Worthing course is taught by Julia Crouch and Laura Wilkinson

Getting to Worthing Library
By bus: There’s a bus stop outside the library (9, The Pulse) or on Chapel Road (1 minute walk).
By train: Worthing train station is a 10 minute walk
By car: There is limited free on-street parking for up to two hours outside the library and nearby. Paid parking in the town centre.
Accessibility
Full disabled accessibility. The course is held on the ground floor and there is a permanent ramp to access the front door of the library.
