A huge congratulations to our six students and alumni who shared their work at our summer reading last Thursday at Kemptown Bookshop, Brighton. Erin Martin, Alan Bonner, Karen Antoni, Tatenda Mukumbira, Janie Reynolds and Julie Ridlington read poetry, prose, memoir and fiction. It was particularly wonderful that some of our readers are in the first year of the creative writing and poetry courses.

Big thanks to poet and CWP tutor Roy Mcfarlane for hosting the evening and sharing some of his own poetry and Kemptown Bookshop for providing the perfect, cosy backdrop.

Our next reading is going to be a little different. On Thursday 26th June, our tutors will be taking centre stage and sharing their works in progress. Come along and hear what they’re working on and celebrate the end of the year. Booking link
