Our popular 10-week Introduction to Creative Writing course, which we’ve always run online, will now also be held in person in London and Eastbourne.
From April 2027, students can take the course at Holborn House in London and at Towner Eastbourne on Thursday evenings from 6.30-9pm.
The courses are ideal for those wanting to explore the craft of writing but who are unsure they want to commit to a two-year course. Over the ten weeks you will explore the key elements of storytelling, including: structure, character, showing and telling, setting, language and voice, point of view and editing. There will be weekly practical writing exercises alongside exploring published work to probe techniques and style.
The next course, starting in January and run online, is filling up fast with just a handful of spaces left. The Eastbourne and London courses starting in April have plenty of availability and you can find out more and book a place here.
