Winter reading success

A huge congratulations to our eight students and alumni who shared their work at our winter reading last night at Kemptown Bookshop, Brighton. Sally Meyer, Tristan Garrick, Richard Gorf, Rowan January, Rosie Moore, Claire Shannon, Nessa Gibbons and Kavita Thomas read a mixture of poetry and prose on inspirations as diverse as greek mythology, doppelgangers, the NHS and laundrettes.

Big thanks to poet and CWP tutor Roy Mcfarlane for hosting the evening and sharing some of his own poetry and Kemptown Bookshop for providing the perfect, cosy backdrop.

Our next readings are on 21st January online and 18th March in Brighton. If you're a student or alumni of the programme and would like to share your work in a supportive environment at a future reading, then please get in touch with Cathy Hayward If you want to be a member of the audience then you can book here.
